Build native apps from your AI tool

Wix Native App Builder is a remote MCP connector. Add it to your AI tool, sign in with your Wix account, and describe the app you want. There is no API key: you sign in with Wix and approve access on a consent screen.

The connector URL

Every tool below uses this one URL.

Claude (claude.ai and Claude Desktop)

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Wix Native App Builder and paste the connector URL above.
  3. Click Connect, sign in with your Wix account, and click Allow.

On Team and Enterprise plans an owner may need to add the connector for the organization first. Prefer a plugin? Download wix-native-app-builder.zip: it bundles the same connector with its skill.

Or build on your own computer: the Claude Desktop Extension

Claude builds the app in a folder on your computer, previews it there, and publishes drafts when you sign in with Wix from the chat. Download it, open the file, and choose your apps folder.

Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu → About This Mac: "Apple M…" is Apple silicon, "Intel" is Intel. Windows is a preview: it is built and packaged for Windows but not yet tested there.

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode.
  2. Choose Create, name it Wix Native App Builder, and paste the connector URL as the MCP server URL.
  3. Set authentication to OAuth, create it, then sign in with Wix and allow access.
